PUR 11-Cup Water Pitcher

I’ve been very pleased with the PUR 11-Cup Water Pitcher with Filter. I wanted an easy way to have better-tasting filtered water at home without constantly buying cases of bottled water, and this pitcher has been a great solution. One of my favorite things about this pitcher is the ease of use. There really isn’t anything complicated about it. You fill the pitcher with tap water, allow it to filter, and it’s ready to drink. The 11-cup capacity is also a nice size because it holds enough water to be useful throughout the day without taking up an excessive amount of space in the refrigerator.
The biggest difference I noticed was the taste of the water. The water tastes fresh and clean, and I actually find myself drinking more water because I enjoy the taste. For me, that alone makes the pitcher worthwhile. Another major benefit is the cost. Using a refillable filtered-water pitcher is more cost-effective than continually purchasing bottled water. There is still the expense of replacing the filter periodically, but I prefer that to repeatedly buying cases or individual bottles of water. Over time, the savings can really add up, especially in a household that drinks a lot of water. I also like being able to use my own reusable glass or stainless-steel drinking containers rather than relying on single-use plastic water bottles. This helps me reduce my exposure to microplastics from bottled water while also cutting down on the amount of plastic waste my household produces. It feels like a simple change that offers both personal and environmental benefits.
There are a few minor drawbacks. Because this is an 11-cup pitcher, it can become fairly heavy when completely full. If you have limited hand strength or difficulty lifting heavier containers, you may prefer filling it only partway. You also have to remember to replace the filter as recommended, which is an ongoing expense. Depending on how much water you drink, you may need to refill the pitcher several time through throughout the day. And, as with most filtered-water pitchers, you do have to wait for the water to pass through the filter before you have a full pitcher ready to use.
Overall, I’m very happy with the PUR 11-Cup Water Pitcher. It’s simple to use, the water tastes great, and it gives me an affordable alternative to bottled water. I especially appreciate being able to reduce my use of plastic bottles and potential microplastic exposure. For anyone who wants convenient, good-tasting filtered water at home without the expense and waste of bottled water, I think this pitcher is a very practical choice.
